Dinisa has been lecturing in Higher Education for more than 12 years with focus on delivering and assessing Audit & Assurance at UG and PG level. She also lectures on Financial Accounting, Financial Reporting and Business Analytics.

Biography

Dinisa is ACCA qualified - she trained with a smaller firm of accountants in external audit and tax. She also has experience preparing accounts for small businesses. She joined academia in 2009. 

She strives to help her students draw links between theory and practice in her delivery and her practical experience supports the development of application-based content for assessment/learning. In 2017, she undertook a secondment with KPMG (Public sector audit) to update herself with the current trends and techniques of auditing. Her efforts towards lifelong learning have allowed her to offer current and useful insights into audit practice while motivating her students to pursue a career in audit. 

Dinisa was International Lead in her previous role, involved in international recruitment and actively coordinated study abroad opportunities. She has a keen interest in this area to improve student employability and skills.
