Nishat has lectured at the University of Birmingham for over ten years teaching management accounting, financial accounting, accounting theory and information systems for accountants. Previously she worked in both industry and practice. She is Deputy Programme Director MSc IAF, Member of School Admissions Committee, a Member of College Misconduct Committee and  PRIME Lead for Birmingham Business School.
