Nick Potter was Group Development Manager for Smiths Crisps and Tudor Foods until 1980 and then Managing Director of the PCS Group until 1993, during which time he also completed an MBA at Birmingham. He has taught on a range of post graduate programmes since 1993 and combines this with his work as a consultant, facilitating strategy formulation at board level. From 1997 to 2000 he was a main board director with English Churches Housing Group and Non-Executive Chairman of ECHG Services Ltd. He was then Chairman of Optimal Ventures Ltd and a Non-Executive Director of Quantum Computers Ltd from 2006 to 2010. Nick's research interests include organisational capabilities, corporate strategy and the role of the centre and he completed his M. Phil in this area in 2006.
