Liyun Zhang is an applied economist with research interests in international and environmental economics. More specifically she studies the impacts of international trade and foreign direct investment. She is also interested in the evaluation of environmental regulations. Liyun obtained her PhD in 2015 and her doctoral thesis investigates firms’ internationalization strategies linking firm heterogeneity, quality upgrading and trade liberalization.
