Agnieszka’s research expertise as well as interests lie in the area of the internationalization of firms and methodological issues of international business research. More specifically, these include: (a) research into internationalisation strategies of firms from or/and transition or/and emerging economies; (b) location choices of multinational companies with a focus on a sub-national level, determinants of re-location strategies and global value chains; (c) the impact of terrorist incidents and/or resilience on location choices of multinational companies; (d) language and multilinguistic challenges in multinational companies as well as (e) methodological issues in cross-country survey research.
Agnieszka has a very good knowledge and understanding of research methods and procedures for collecting, processing and analysing survey data. She is familiar with a wide range of econometric techniques (e.g. discrete choice models). She has a very good ability to communicate effectively complex economic and international business concepts in a simple manner to different types of audiences.
By bridging theory and practice she seeks opportunities to collaborate both nationally and internationally with partners to co-create work within her research areas that has significant value, it is intellectually stimulating, mutually rewarding and has impact on the communities of practice engaged in research. As the central aim of her research work is to improve, innovate and impact on the human condition through rigorous research and engaged scholarship.
