Chemical Engineering at the University of Birmingham has scored top marks in the 2020 National Student Survey.

The subject is now ranked 3rd in the Russell Group for overall satisfaction with a score of 89%.

Feedback from students also helped Chemical Engineering gain 1st place in the Russell Group for learning resources and 2nd place in the teaching category. Commissioned by the Office for Students, the NSS is a high profile annual survey that asks students about their experiences in higher education. Every university in the country takes part. 311,432 students responded to the survey this year.

The Russell Group is an organisation representing 24 world-class, research-intensive UK universities.
