Anne-Marie Hermansson is Professor in Structured biomaterials at Chalmers University of Technology.
She is a Board member of the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences as well as Chair of the Engineering class and Chair of the Royal Academy National Committee of Nutrition and Food Sciences Until November 2012 she held the position as Vice President of Strategic Research Areas at Chalmers and before that she was Director of the Structure and Material Design Unit at SIK and Director of the Excellence Centre SuMo Biomaterials at Chalmers.
She is a fellow of the Royal Swedish Academy of Science, the Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences and fellow of IAFoST. She has a MSc in chemical engineering from Chalmers University of Technology and a PhD in Food Technology from Lund University.
She has published around 200 papers and conference proceedings and has a H-index of 35 in web of science. Anne-Marie Hermansson is frequently invited to give lectures at international congresses and she is involved in a number of international projects.
