A one-day event including workshops, presentations, and discussion sessions on popular and genre fiction open to all researchers at Birmingham (MA/MRes students are welcome). 

Topics include: qualitative and quantitative methods for literary studies; neurodiversity in popular fiction; disability studies and popular fiction. Invited speakers include Professor Lisa Fletcher (University of Tasmania) and Dr Briony Birdi (University of Sheffield).
