Call for papers

We invite contributions on a broad and inclusive basis. The theme is open for interpretation by the researchers and could include impactful research from any branch of the field; whether that be in other disciplines, in areas outside of academia, or over multiple facets and sub-disciplines of linguistics itself.

We are accepting abstracts from postgraduate researchers, including MA by Research students, for 20 minute oral presentations (+5 minutes for questions). Submissions should be 500-700 words, excluding the word count for references.

There will also be a poster presentation session so please do submit abstracts for this as well. Abstracts should be 250-500 words, excluding the word count for references.

Please send applications to hgw855@bham.ac.uk. With your abstract please include your name, degree title, year of study and home university. Submissions must be in English.

The deadline for abstracts is 16:00 28/02/19 and you will be notified by 15/03/19 as to whether your submission has been accepted.
