Sketch Engine is a corpus query interface and corpus management tool, that the University of Birmingham has a full institutional licence for. All students and staff at the University can use the resources and tools through any browser and can also load their own data for investigation using corpus analysis tools. Participants in this entry-level workshop will learn about the range of corpora that can be searched using Sketch Engine, and the tools that are available in the interface. They will also learn how to load their own data into Sketch Engine.

The workshop is offered by the Centre for Corpus Research and it is open to UoB students and research visitors. Places are limited and will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis.  Contact Michelle Devereux (m.c.m.devereux@bham.ac.uk) to register for the workshop.
