Using a purpose-built corpus of research articles from a broad range of disciplines (50 disciplines) over a fifteen year period (2003-2017), this project is building a new multidimensional analysis of writing across the disciplines, based on features that are recognised to be distinctive of academic research article writing.
The project is a collaboration with the scientific publisher, Elsevier, and it will result in at least one peer-reviewed journal article.
