The Screening Rights Film Festival 2016 is a four-day programme of important and inspiring Social Justice films by award-winning and new directors from across the globe.

Taking place across Birmingham, all films will include post screening discussions with directors, producers, writers, activists and experts. Festival director, B-Film's Michele Aaron, is Senior Lecturer in Film Studies at the University of Birmingham where her research focuses on the potential of film to affect personal, social and political change.
