The Shakespeare Institute hosts the first performance since the seventeenth century of this recently discovered Restoration comedy, in a professional production by FRED Theatre Company and directed by Shakespeare Institute alumnus Robert F. Ball.

The play was discovered by Joseph Stephenson of Abilene Christian University, Texas, who will introduce the performance.  Afterwards there will be a panel discussion with academic contributors including Prof. David Roberts (Birmingham City University) and Dr Gillian Wright (University of Birmingham).
