MA Inclusion Scholarships

We are delighted to offer two £1500 scholarships for overseas students on each of the following School of Education programmes: 

These scholarships are for students joining us in September 2022, and are intended for tuition fees only (they cannot be used towards living costs). 

Eligibility Criteria

In order to be eligible to apply, you must fulfil all of the following criteria:

  • already have, or expect to receive, an upper second class degree (2:1) or equivalent
  • be an overseas applicant
  • be an applicant to full MA programme 
  • already hold an offer from the University of Birmingham to start a programme in MA Inclusion (SEN), MA Inclusion (Autism Adults), MA Inclusion (Autism Children), MA Inclusion (SEBD), MA Inclusion (SLD/PMLD).

In addition to having an excellent academic background, applicants must demonstrate excellence in an aspect of their life. This might be significant achievement gained either in their working life or through volunteering and service to others or in exceptional achievement in extra curricular activities (such as sport, music, managing events or societies). 

Applicants must also outline the contribution they will make to the University of Birmingham as a student and what they expect to gain from studying at Birmingham. 

The applications for September 2022 entry will close at midnight on Monday 15 August 2022. Decisions will be made regarding who receives a scholarship by no later than Thursday 1 September 2022.
