The accreditation team from the BPS concluded their two-day visit to the University on Friday 18th March, and during which they had interviewed the team and a range of stakeholders and managers internal and external to the University of Birmingham, affirming unconditionally the continuing accreditation of the App Ed and Child Psy D programme by the Society.

The BPS team praised the excellent programme leadership and a team who consistently support the development of applied psychologists who are an asset to the children’s workforce, able to work with high levels of competence at a range of levels, including work with individual children, young people and young adults; working with groups; contributing to research and development initiatives and, through both training and research, contributing toward organisational development.
