University and Higher Education cultural change since the implementation of higher fees in England
The project sets out to provide a critical analysis of the relationship of new imposed higher fees and the organisational culture within universities. This will be achieved via an in depth analysis of cultural change in two contrasting English universities during the academic year of the fee changes. The research will draw upon data from students and academics across a range of subject disciplines.

I began my teaching career working within the primary school sector, specialising in mathematics. I moved to the Teacher Education Department at Stoke-on-Trent College, representing the department on the academic board. Within this post I was appointed as an Advanced Skills Teacher.
I joined Staffordshire University in early 2006 initially as an award leader for Education based off-campus Foundation Degrees. In subsequent years I have led on and off campus Honours awards and taught on a range of postgraduate awards. I now lead the PGCE Primary Teacher Training award within the School of Education.
In 2010 I became the Business School’s first Student Experience Manager, taking up the position as a Principal Lecturer. In addition I am a programme advisor to a partner college in the Greater Delhi region, India, and also have also engaged in a variety of funding bids both nationally and internationally.
