Francisco joined the Jubilee Centre as a Research Fellow in September 2016. He works as a data analyst contributing to projects across the Centre. Francisco is studying a PhD in Local Government Studies in the University of Birmingham, he holds an MSc in Social Research Methods from the London School of Economics, a BA in Political Science and a BA in Literature and Linguistics from the Pontificia Universidad Catolica de Chile.  Previously Francisco worked as a researcher in the Public Policy Centre of the Universidad Catolica de Chile and as a research intern in London’s think tank Centre for Cities.

Francisco has more than 8 years research experience in Chile and the UK. He worked for 4 years in the Center for Public Policy of the Universidad Catolica leading an agreement between the Centre and the Municipality of La Florida (second largest in Chile). He also participated in several projects for clients such as the Ministry of internal affairs and the Chilean Transparency council.

In 2013 Francisco won a scholarship to study for a Masters in Social Research Methods at the London School of Economics. This was followed by a second scholarship to study for a Phd In Local Government Studies at the University of Birmingham.

During 2014 he worked as a research intern at the Centre for Cities in London and in September 2016 he started as research fellow in the Jubilee Centre. He is in charge of the data analysis for several projects across the centre especially those which use a quantitative approach.
