Angela is co-tutor for the PGDip(Ed) Modern Languages programme for secondary schools and she is also a tutor on the PGDip(Ed) Primary (Languages) programme. She also teaches on the School Direct programme in the School of Education, University of Birmingham.

She is a German with French specialist and has taught in secondary schools in Worcestershire where she was a Lead Practitioner. She also served on the Senior Leadership Team and was responsible for the German A Level consortium within Redditch in Worcestershire. Her area of expertise is the development of Teaching and Learning. 

Angela is passionate about Modern Language Teaching and in the delivery of innovative creative lessons. Her current research interests focus on issues relating to School Direct and the different routes into the teaching profession.
