Professor Chris Baker - a symposium Back to 'News and events' After 42 years of research in Wind Engineering, Professor Chris Baker has decided to retire from the University of Birmingham on the 31st December 2017 (although in typical Chris fashion he intends to remain research active). In order to celebrate Chris’ research contribution, a mini (informal) symposium will be held on the 13th December from 13:30 – 17:30, followed by tea and cream cakes reception. The symposium will be delivered by his former colleagues, research students and postdoctoral researchers. Whilst attendance at the event is free and open to all, we ask that for catering and fire safety purposes (and further updates) you register here. If you have any further questions please feel free to contact Michelle Worrall (firstname.lastname@example.org).
