All of our BEng and MEng programmes are accredited by the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET), making them well-recognised and respected qualifications among employers.

This is a research-rich department,  86% of our research was rated as world-leading or internationally excellent. This means that the specialist course modules and projects you choose at Birmingham are taught by active researchers developing the systems and technology of the future.
