The University of Birmingham is an associate partner of the NERC CDT in Oil and Gas. Within an annual national cohort of around 30 PhD students, the School of Geography, Earth and Environmental Sciences will be hosting one fully funded four-year studentship per year, focusing on applied micropalaeontology and geoscience in the oil and gas sector.
Full funding, including student stipend, is available for UK students or EU students ordinarily resident in the UK for the past three years.
