This BHS national meeting will be held at the University of Birmingham.
The field of ecohydrology is growing in international prominence. This meeting aims to develop the strength, integration and connectivity of the UK based ecohydrology research community. The meeting will focus on ecohydrology in its broadest sense, from aquatic to terrestrial ecosystems, comprising of invited talks from leading UK based ecohydrology experts and an international keynote by the Editor of the Ecohydrology Journal, Professor Keith Smettem from the University of Western Australia. Presentations will range from the impact of changing hydrological regimes on river based ecological communities to the intrinsic link between hydrological and ecological processes within peatland, dry land and forest environments. There will be ample time to discuss future challenges and research opportunities with colleagues.
