Why did you choose to study at the University of Birmingham?

I chose Birmingham to advance my career in Micropalaeontology because it is the only course in the country that offers exactly what I needed to pursue my career path. Additionally, the great teaching staff and industry links facilitated my knowledge and aided gaining professional experience. My time undertaking my MSc in Applied and Petroleum Micropalaeontology was invaluable. Due to the content of the course being so versatile, I gained some of the most important skills, techniques and experience needed for a research career in Micropalaeontology.
