Title of PhD: Artificial Chemical Ageing of Ambient Atmospheric Aerosol

Supervisors: Dr William Bloss, Professor Roy Harrison

Suad Al Kindi is taking a doctoral program with integrated study in Atmospheric Sciences and Air pollution. She has read 120 credits of taught modules in the areas of meteorology and air pollution control and management. She is testing the concept of coupling a chemical ageing reactor to the Aerosol Time of Flight Mass Spectrometry system to investigate changes in particle physical and chemical properties resulting from artificial chemical oxidation.
