Dr Kelvin Ng is an atmospheric scientist who focuses on meteorological and climatological extremes.

Qualifications

  • MSci in Physics with Theoretical Physics (Imperial College London)
  • PhD in Atmospheric Sciences (The University of Hong Kong)

Biography

Dr Kelvin Ng completed his PhD on the governing factors of tropical cyclone intensity in the University of Hong Kong.  Then he joined Birmingham as a postdoctoral research fellow in 2018. He is currently working on projects about extreme meteorological and climate hazards in Asia (INPAIS; PRECAX).
