Children, Rights and Childhood networking event

In partnership with Selly Oak Nursery School, and in association with UNICEF, The Teddy Trust and Birmingham City Council, you're invited to a networking and collaboration event focussing on 'Child Rights Week: The Right to Shelter,' taking place during International Refugee Week in June. This event is open to teachers, governors, and charitable organisations working with young children, as well as PhD research students in related disciplines. The event is funded by the Midlands 3 Cities Doctoral Training Partnership in association with the Arts and Humanities Research Council.
The event will include presentations from:
Laura Foster, Deputy Head, Selly Oak Nursery School Martin Russell, Senior Professional Adviser, UNICEF Ellie Targett, CEO, The Teddy Trust Razia Butt, Resilience Adviser, Children and Young People Directorate, Birmingham City Council
Speed workshops will discuss the implementation of future Child Rights Week initiatives, as well as work that Selly Oak Nursery School has achieved.
The event will include plenty of opportunity for networking and refreshments. A research poster exhibition will also take place from PhD researchers exhibiting their work on interdisciplinary areas of childhood studies.
