Speaker: Ms. Donna Guest, Senior Advisor on Southeast Asia at Institute for Human Rights and Business
Donna moved to IHRB from Amnesty International where she worked on human rights and in Southeast Asia for over 20 years. Most recently, she served as Amnesty's Deputy Director for Southeast Asia and the Pacific. In 2012, Donna facilitated and led Amnesty's first mission to Myanmar since 2003. Currently, Donna is leading IHRB's developing programme in Myanmar as well as outreach and advocacy with governments, companies and civil society throughout the region.
The International Development Forum is a student led initiative funded by the Centre for Learning and Academic Development at the University of Birmingham. Its primary objective is to provide students from across the university at any level of study with an introduction to engaging topics in international development. However, it is also open to staff and external guests who share interests in international development.
