Adam Payler is undertaking doctoral research that examines the dynamics of the politics-administration nexus within special purpose governance structures, using English police governance as a case study.  

 

Profile

Prior to commencing his doctoral research, Adam worked for a number of years within the local government sector in Canada, in both corporate-focused roles and managerial roles within an operations environment. Adam’s professional experience has sparked his interest in studying the intersection of politics and administration, particularly the informal rules that govern this space.

Adam is currently a Research Associate at Conestoga College, supporting two Government of Canada Social Science and Humanities Research Council funded projects.
