Evaluating Gender Mainstreaming in Counter-Terrorism Policies

Jessica White is a doctoral researcher looking at the impact of including gender equality platforms in counter-terrorism policies.  She is using the case-study method to examine several counter-terrorism programs and evaluating the value of gender equality under a feminist theoretical framework.


Jessica previously studied Political Science and International Studies at degree level in the United States at the University of Kansas before undertaking a Masters in International Conflict at Kingston University.  Between her Masters and current PhD research she spent six years as an Arabic Linguist in the United States Navy.

Other activities
