My research responds to creative engagements with classical literature in modern and contemporary women's writing, with an emphasis on receptions of Homeric epic and Greek drama. I coordinate the Birmingham and West Midlands Classics Network, which supports the work of the education charity Classics for All to introduce and develop classical subjects in local state primary and secondary schools.
