Getting Grants, Getting Published and Staying Sane? Life After the PhD

Gisbert Kapp Building, Room N334
Thursday 2 May 2013 (09:00-17:00)

On Thursday 2 May the Department of History is to host a full-day workshop co-organised by History Lab Plus  and History Lab NW that aims to help History PGR students prepare for life after the PhD. The workshop will address issues such as finding research fellowships, getting research published and visible, taking on new roles outside of academia or doing something complete different, and the transition from 'student' to another identity.
