History and Cultures Workshop double seminar

Mapping the materiality of disease: cartographic representations of cholera in nineteenth-century England

The History and Cultures Workshop provides opportunities for postgraduates to exchange ideas and perspectives within an informal environment. We welcome postgraduates and early career researchers who specialise in the study of history, cultures and area studies; emphasising a broad scope in both geographic and chronological terms. HCW aims to foster lively and stimulating debate, while taking advantage of Birmingham’s central location and excellent transport connections to encourage the networking of postgraduates. All seminars provide wine and nibbles. All welcome.
