Students and staff from across the University are invited to join the School of History and Cultures for an exploration of Gay History as part of our celebrations of LGBT History Month.

Hear from experts, including  Dr Elaine Fulton, and discover more about the history of homosexuality and the challenges faced by those who have tried to write it. Following this, there will be a look at contemporary history with a talk on the changing face of the LGBTQ scene in Birmingham over the last thirty years by the Birmingham LGBT Centre.

Light refreshments will be provided at the end of the talk, where there will be further opportunities to ask questions, browse publicity material from the LGBT Society on campus and to socialise with other attendees.
