Postgraduate researchers Annabelle Gilmore (History, Birmingham), Sue Lemos (History, Warwick), and Montaz Marché (History, Birmingham) will be joining us to discuss their current research on Black British histories.

The discussion will seek to draw out the historiographical resonances between research on different periods to examine the current shape and direction of the field.

The session has been organised by the Birmingham Research Institute for History and Cultures (BRIHC), in collaboration with the Centre for Modern and Contemporary History(MCH). Thanks to Joel Harvey and Shape History for giving permission to use the accompanying image.
