LLB Law in Action II

Students studying in-between lectures

Module description:

This is a project module generally taken in the second semester of year 2 by students on mixed LLB programmes. Students taking the Law in Action module undertake project work on a topic connected with one of the core subjects studied in second year (typically a project on a topic connected with Torts, EU, or Land Law).  The focus of each topic/project area is intended to complement a student’s substantive studies in one of the relevant core subject areas, with an emphasis on applying or examining the relevant topic area in a real world context. This module also has a pronounced focus on skills necessary for undertaking project work, including basic legal research skills, as well as skills connected with legal and academic writing.
