DESCRIPTION:\n On the 19 June 2024 the Institute of European Law at the Birmingham Law School will host the annual meeting of the European Procurement Law Group (EPLG):EPLG – European Procurement Law Group – European Procurement Law Group (eplgroup.eu)\n
 \n The EPLG was founded in 2008 by a small group of academics in Turin and has now members from Austria, Italy, Germany, France, The Netherlands, Spain, Portugal, Denmark, Finland, Romania, Poland, and the United Kingdom. IEL Director Professor Martin Trybus has been (one of) the UK members of the Group from the beginning and already hosted the Annual Meeting in Birmingham before in 2015. The Group is dedicated to comparative research on EU procurement law and its implementation in the Member States and has produced about a dozen edited collections on different aspects of public procurement law and policy published by Djoef in Copenhagen and now by Edward Elgar in Cheltenham. The 2024 Annual Meeting in Birmingham will prepare an edited collection on public procurement reform led by Professor Franois Lichere from the University of Lyon III Jean Moulin.\n
