Paul worked as a solicitor before moving into legal education. He was LPC Programme Lead at the University of Law for several years and joined Birmingham Law School in 2018. Paul is the Law School’s Director of Careers and has a particular interest in supporting students in developing their employability and professional skills. Paul is also the Law School’s Head of Global Engagement, and is keen to engage with universities, alumni, employers and prospective international students worldwide.

Biography

Paul qualified as a Solicitor at international law firm Squire Patton Boggs, where he spent time working in the firm’s Birmingham, London and Paris offices, advising on range of Real Estate and Corporate Law matters. He joined the University of Law in 2005, teaching on LPC, GDL and PSC programmes, and was the LPC Programme Lead for several years. In 2016, he completed a Masters in Employment Law and moved to the University of Leicester, before joining Birmingham Law School in 2018.
