Zeenat is an Assistant Professor in Law at the Dubai Campus as well as a doctoral researcher at the University of Birmingham. She has a range of publications in world-leading peer-reviewed journals in the areas of commercial law, dispute resolution in oil and gas disputes as well as equity and trusts.

Zeenat also has extensive experience in teaching Law at undergrad level as well as post grad level having taught at various British universities in Dubai. She has also designed several Law modules and led many modules in these universities.

Prior to joining academia, she practiced as a legal consultant in Dubai where she mainly advised clients on real estate matters as well as commercial transactions .

  • PhD Candidate - Doctoral Researcher in Law (Healthcare Law) (University of Birmingham)

Biography

Hailing from a scientific background, Zeenat initially worked as a pharmacist in the UK before moving on to studying Law. Her Masters in Pharmacy dissertation also got published in a world leading peer-reviewed journal upon graduation.

She now has a keen interest in the realms of healthcare law and human rights.

Teaching

Zeenat has taught an array of law modules ranging from contract law to intellectual property as well as tort law and equity and trusts. In addition to this, she has also taught several post grad modules as well namely the International Sale of Goods and World Trade Organisation.

She is currently teaching English and International Sales Law at Masters level.
