Dr Katharina Möser teaches company and contract law. Her research focuses on issues of consumer debt and personal insolvency law. Recent publications critically examine the assumptions of neoclassical economic theory and their influence on the design of legal norms.

Biography

Dr Katharina Möser joined Birmingham Law School in January 2009. Prior to joining Birmingham, she taught at the University of Exeter and worked as a research assistant at the University of Dresden.

Dr Möser qualified for the German legal profession with the First State Examination at the University of Marburg and the Second State Examination in Frankfurt am Main. She received her LLM with distinction from the University of Lancaster and her PhD with distinction (summa cum laude) from the University of Dresden.
