Matthew Rampley will be keynote speaker at the NORDIK 2012 conference of Art Historians in Stockholm on October 24-27. The conference is a triennial event that gathers together art historians from all the Nordic countries. Matthew's lecture will be entitled: 'The Artist’s Brain. What’s Wrong with Neuroscience and Cybernetics in Art History?' and examines the recent rise of interest in applying neuroscientific theories of the brain to the understanding of art.
