Beyond Baudelaire: Music, Poetry, and Translation day

To celebrate the end of the Baudelaire Song project, a series of events will take place on campus on 7 November 2019.

The day will start with a Language Coaching Masterclass led by Professor Helen Abbott and open to the public at the Barber Institute Concert Hall (10am-12pm); it will be followed by a Poetry Translation Workshop (Arts building 103, 2pm-4pm); and it will culminate with an evening performance at the Barber Institute (5:30-6:30pm) preceded by a Q&A with the composer Cheryl Frances-Hoad (4:30-5:15pm).
