The GlobalLit project cordially invites you to join its inaugural lecture, part of its multilingual series of lectures on literary theory (balāghah).

The lecture will be remotely delivered by Professor Wafi Haj Majid, Chairman of Arabic & Literature Department at the Global University, Beirut, on the legacy of ʿAbd al-Qāhir al-Jurjānī, entitled: “Between Articulate Challenges & Multifaceted Meanings: Reflections with al-Jurjānī".

The project is based at the University of Birmingham and funded by the European Research Council (ERC) (Grant agreement No. [SH5, ERC-2017-STG]).
