Réseau-F Postgraduate Consortium for French and Francophone Studies

Dates
Friday 10 May 2013 (10:30-17:00)

The Réseau-F Postgraduate Consortium for French and Francophone Studies will be taking place at the University of Birmingham on 10 May 2013 with the generous financial support of the Society for French Studies and the College of Arts and Law Graduate School.

The conference forms part of a series of events within Réseau-F, a network of postgraduate students and staff representatives working in the broad fields of French and Francophone Studies. As such the network brings together a wide range of academic interests within a common disciplinary framework. As well as providing a semi-formal platform on which students can present their research, the events provide academic skills sessions centred around postgraduate concerns. In the past these have focused on methodology construction and application for postdoctoral positions.

To this end we are happy to announce that our keynote speaker will be Professor Tim Unwin (University of Bristol), general editor of French Studies, who will be delivering a skills session on the processes of academic publication.
