In 2016, I started my BA in English Studies, in the University Paul Valéry in Montpellier, which allowed me to learn more about literature written in English (British literature, American literature, Postcolonial literatures…), the history of English-speaking countries, the translation of texts from English to French and from French to English, and linguistics.
In 2019, I continued studying in the University Paul Valéry and I chose to focus on the possibility to do research in literature. I took an interest in Indigenous writers living in Canada and in the way they use their own experience and the experience of their community to share their stories which are too often ignored and undervalued. I am currently finishing my MA and doing some research on the Métis community for my MA dissertation project.
In 2020, I arrived in Birmingham to work as a French Assistant Language Tutor.
