In addition to the programme of international prorgamme of events, the Institut Ramon Llull has produced an exhibition that will tour a number of universities in France, Germany and the UK. The first stop in this country will be in Birmingham, where the exhibition will be open from 16 to 30 November and installed in the Muirhead Tower Foyer.
This exhibition, entitled The Ineffable Truth: The Book of the Lover and the Beloved by Ramon Llull, is curated by Dr Joan Santanach. The exhibition takes the verses in The Book of the Lover and the Beloved as its starting point and provides an opportunity for visitors to learn in depth about the life of Ramon Llull, his historical context and his thinking. This book is part of Llull’s novel Blaquerna and is a synthesis of his mysticism and philosophy.
