I am a native speaker of Spanish and I was born in Argentina. I trained as a language teacher and have over 15 years teaching experience  at all levels, from children as young as 3 to adults. I have been teaching Spanish at the University of Birmingham since 2004.

Biography

I have over 15 years of teaching experience as a language teacher. I have worked in primary and secondary schools as well as in 6th Form Centres teaching students ages ranging from 6 to 18 years old. I also worked in adult education, teaching EFL and English for specific purposes and Spanish as a foreign language before starting my career in Higher education teaching Spanish to undergraduates, postgraduates and members of the public.

Teaching

I love teaching at all levels.

I am currently teaching Spanish levels: 1, 3 and 5 and supervise the Tandem module.

Other activities

I enjoy keeping up to date with new teaching methods that contribute to my personal and professional development. Throughout my career I regularly attend courses and seminars providing methodology techniques and pedagogical enrichment.

I am a CBLC examiner for OCR.
