The University Chamber Choirs join the Brass Band in a concert celebrating the best of British composers. With stirring choral works interspersed with a selection of rousing music for that most British of ensembles, the brass band, this concert promises to be an enjoyable evening for all. Under the direction of their newly appointed professional Musical Director, Stuart Birnie, the band are joined on stage by both the mixed and women’s chamber choirs as the finale of this concert for a performance of Arthur Sullivan’s enduringly popular The Lost Chord.
