2016 sees the quincentenary of the publication of Ariosto's Orlando furioso, the source of texts for innumerable operas, madrigals and other musical entertainments in the musical baroque. To celebrate this event the Centre for Early Music Performance and Research and the Early Modern Vocal Ensemble team up with the professional baroque ensemble Musica Secreta to present a programme of musical responses to this exciting and epoch-making publication.
