The Music Society's Symphony Orchestra present an evening concert in St George's Church prior to undertaking a concert tour of Tuscany from 21-27 June. The programme contains the bold Russian music of Borodin, Smetana's depiction of the mighty Czech river, Vltava and the quintessentially British Enigma Variations by the University's first Professor of Music.
