The New Music Ensemble provides student musicians with a valuable opportunity to engage with 20th and 21st century performance. Under their director, Daniele Rosina, the group perform a cabaret inspired first half, with the music of Kurt Weill, followed by the premiere of a collection of new works by postgraduate, PhD and graduate composers inspired by the collection of art in The Barber Institute of Fine Arts. The movements are linked by a promenade written by BEAST and Studio composition director, Annie Mahtani.

Venue: Barber Concert Hall

Tickets: £10, £7 concessions, £3 students/under 18s. (Available from the Barber website or by calling +44 (0)121 414 7333)
